Anthony is well known around the Village for, among other things, his collection of steam-engines and the items of machinery and memorabilia from a bygone age.
He is pictured here on one of his engines, pulling the Pre-School float in the Field Day parade.
Anthony’s love of the traditional and historical is legendary. When someone suggested he buy his wife, Sally, an iPod for her birthday, he ascertained that it was a device for storing and playing music, and therefore bought her . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . an antique jukebox – nearly the same thing!?
Just as well Sally is one of the most tolerant and patient people you are likely to meet!
