In order to qualify as one of our "Community User Groups", a hiring group must be:
- based in Grimsargh
- be a not-for-profit organisation, though we do not require Charity status
- be run entirely by volunteers
- be regular users of the Village Hall
Groups that are seen to be offering activities that are broadly beneficial to the Community as a whole are viewed favourably.
Community User Groups are given a discount of the hire fees for the Village Hall for their regular sessions and also £50 off the rate for a Friday or Saturday evening, in addition to that already offered to Members.
In return there is a requirement for these groups to provide support to the Village Hall and assistance with the running of our events.
